About
Dr. Reuben T. DeHaan
President of Health Care Ministry International
Dr. Reuben T. De Haan was born to missionary parents
and raised in the Amazon jungles of South America. For many years,
he was exposed to holistic health experiences within his family,
then went on to work as an assistant in his father’s veterinary
practice. But his father recognized an inner gift in his son and
urged him to pursue Naturopathic medicine.
After earning his N.D. degree and a variety of
certifications in various modalities, Dr. Reuben DeHaan opened a
local practice. After years of practice, he discovered two main
problems. One is that there was no training facility that really
taught students how to get people well. Learning a variety of natural
therapies and earning a degree is wonderful. But incorporating all
of ones knowledge into a usable format that could create predictable
wellness programs just wasn't available. In addition, alternative
studies were not discussing the cause of the problem, only natural
relief therapies. That is better than drugs and surgery, but still
not addressing the cause. Dr. DeHaan founded HCMI to help supply
the missing links and went on to develop the TBA
system.
He soon found that teaching others some of the
expertise he had gained would eventually reach and help more people,
so he sold his local practice and began teaching full time. Dr.
DeHaan now travels internationally as the primary instructor for
the TBA Certification Workshops. You will find Dr. DeHaan to be
an excellent instructor in the Total Body Analysis Certification
Workshops. He is personable and makes learning fun and interactive.
He loves to teach and believes the student needs to become empowered
to do the techniques he/she learns in the workshop. Dr. DeHaan has
a rare and unique understanding of how the body strives for wellness
in the midst of disease processes. He is author and creator of many
books and training videos in the area of holistic health.
Giving up his practice was short lived; now you
can find Dr. DeHaan in North Carolina, where people who desire to
achieve wellness consult with him for newborn hope and help for
their health complaints, but his greatest efforts are spent in training
others to do what he does as more people can be helped that way.
