Health
Care as a Ministry/Mission (continued)
When God called out the nation of Israel to be
separate and holy unto Him, He gave them many laws to govern their
daily lives, laws about diet and nutrition, plants, animals, agriculture,
sanitation and cleanliness. He told them specifically which animals
they should and should not eat (Lev. 11:1,2; Deut. 15:21). He made
laws about childbirth (Lev. 12:1) and various sicknesses (Lev. 13:2,
23, 29, 40; 15:2), to whom they should go for diagnosis and treatment
(Lev. 12:3), and outlining sanitary practices (Deut. 24:12).He did
not make these rules just to exercise His authority over them or
to make their lives difficult. Every such biblical law has since
been proven to reflect sound health practices. For example, circumcision
was to be done on th eight day and science has found that on the
eight day there is substantially less bleeding than any other day.
He gave these laws so that they would be the healthiest people on
earth! And He promised that if they would obey Him, they would experience
none of the diseases that came upon the rest of the world (Ex. 15:26).
Unfortunately, many Christians today are under
the mistaken impression that Jesus came to do away with all these
laws. On the contrary, Jesus declared that He had come not to abolish
them but to fulfill them, and that those who encourage others to
ignore them will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 5:17-19).
The result of our dismissal of God’s instructions for caring
for our bodies is clear: people in the Church are just as sick as
people outside the Church. Christians are dying of the same diseases
in the same numbers as agnostics.
We are clearly neglecting some fundamental laws
of health care, then expecting poisonous drugs and removal of body
parts to patch it up. Using poisons and sugery (removal of body
parts) seems not only like a violaton, but abomination!
Acquiring Alternative Convictions
Christians are becoming desperate for answers to their health problems.
They are starting to look for alternatives to the traditional medical
options of surgery and medication – methods that are more
like God intended His creation to use. Nude examinations, drugs
with harmful effects, invasive diagnostic tests and radical surgical
treatments seem to be far from “the way it was created to
be.”
Who Should Use Health Care as a Ministry/Mission?
As we saw above, in the Law of God health care was biblically mandated
by the Creator. It is our calling and our responsibility to care
for the hurting and broken in the world around us and HCMI was especially
designed to train the average person how to do so. No previous medical
training is required to learn what we teach. Nurses are generally
very accepting of the health truths we teach, but most of our students
are regular moms and dads with a heart to help people the way God
intended.
We Need Heath Ministers in Your Area
If you agree with our mission statement and believe that health
care should be more natural than the drugs and surgery offered by
modern medicine, will you consider being trained in Total Body Analysis
so you can minister to the sick in your area? Too many people are
living with weakness, pain and disease because they think they don’t
have a choice. Too many people are destroyed for lack of knowledge
(Hos. 4:6). Now that you know there are answers, will you take the
good news to those who are dying to hear?
If you don’t think you personally can take
on this vital ministry but you are convinced of its value, you can
help someone else fulfill the destiny for which God made them. Share
the vision of HCMI.
Sponsor a Health Mission
We have all seen the television commercials asking for our spare
change to help feed an orphan somewhere in the world. We cannot
all take food to these needy people, so we support those who are
already there tackling the problem. In much the same way, we are
not all called to health care, especially in a mission setting.
There are many who have that calling, that desire in their heart,
but they don't have the financial means to become trained and purchase
the necessary equipment.
HCMI cannot directly reach all the needy people
in every region of the world. But we do want to support those who
already minister among them. We therefore bring people from the
various nations to our headquarters in North Carolina, USA, train
them in natural health care and furnish them with the knowledge
and equipment needed to help those in their area attain symptom
relief, health, and freedom from disease without drugs or surgery.
By sponsoring such a mission’s outreach,
you can help provide the needed training and equipment. Imagine
knowing that you set up an entire alternative health mission in
a developing nation or right in the inner city where you live! You
may choose to sponsor any group currently on our list so that you
can feel personally connected to the area you choose. You may even
want to visit your sponsored location and personally witness the
hope and healing you have helped to establish in that area.
You can contact us for ways that you can get involved
in bringing biblical health care to all those in need. Cost of a
TBA mission project: $6000 (includes all equipment and basic training).
