Brown Recluse Spider Detox Information

The brown recluse spider's venom is extremely poisonous, even more potent than that of a rattlesnake. However, the recluse spider venom causes less disease than a rattlesnake bite because of the small quantities injected into its victims. Still, the venom of the brown recluse is toxic to cells and tissues.

Brown recluse spider bites often go unnoticed initially because they are typically painless bites. Occasionally, some minor burning that feels like a bee sting is noticed at the time of the bite. Symptoms usually develop two to eight hours after a bite. Characteristic violin-shaped markings on their backs are the reason why brown recluse spiders have also been named fiddleback spiders. Most bites cause little tissue destruction and bites from non-brown recluse spiders pose no real threat.

Brown Recluse Bite Symptoms:
  • severe pain at bite site after about four hours
  • severe itching
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • fever
  • myalgias (muscle pain)

Initially the bite site is slightly red and close inspection may reveal fang marks. Often the bite site will become firm and heal with little scaring over the next few days or weeks. Occasionally, the local reaction will be more severe with erythema (redness) and blistering. This can lead to a blue discoloration and ultimately, lead to a necrotic lesion and scarring. Signs that may be present include:

  • blistering (common)
  • necrosis (death) of skin and subcutaneous fat (less common)
  • severe destructive necrotic lesions with deep wide borders (rare)
  • in severe cases, renal failure, seizures and coma, even death can occur.
After a spider bite:
  • Apply ice to decrease pain and swelling (never use heat!).
  • Elevate area, if possible, above the level of the heart.
  • Wash the area thoroughly with cool water and mild soap.
  • Avoid any strenuous activity because this can spread the spider's venom in the skin.

Our Brown Recluse Spider Detox Remedy is an antidote to the destructive cytotoxic and hemolytic poisons as well as the destructive enzymes hyaluronidase, deoxyribonuclease, ribonuclease, alkaline phosphatase, lipase. It deactivates the protein Sphingomyelinase D, C-reactive protein and balances the factors that contribute to inflammation such as histamines, cytokines, interleukins, arachidonic acid, prostaglandins, and chemotactic infiltration of neutrophils.

Warning

The most dangerous part of a brown recluse bite is not the bite itself, but the infection that sets in after the bite. Necrosis (tissue death) along the bite site can lead to serious MRSA infections and other secondary infections that can lead to wounds such as that in the photo. If you have a current bite wound, PLEASE use the Liquid Detox on the wound several times a day and take a colloidal silver (18ppm) supplement internally, possibly even externally on the wound as well.

Remember that our Liquid Detox is one of the most effective remedies for treating/healing bites and wounds. It is powerful at helping reduce pain, swelling and itching, and is very effective at preventing infection. You can apply it directly to the bite or wound or soak the absorbent part of a band aid (3-5 drops) in Liquid Detox and apply it to the bite or wound.

Bronchitis

Bronchitis is inflammation of the mucous membranes of the bronchi, the airways that carry airflow from the trachea into the lungs. Bronchitis is generally divided into two categories, acute and chronic.

Acute bronchitis is characterized by the development of a cough, with or without the production of mucus that is expectorated (coughed up) from the respiratory tract. About 90% of cases of acute bronchitis are caused by viruses, particularly rhinoviruses, adenoviruses, and influenza while bacteria account for fewer than 10%. Bacterias that are responsible tend to be Mycoplasma, Chlamydophila, Bordetella, Streptococcus, and Haemophilus. Acute bronchitis can be annoying but even with no treatment, most cases of acute bronchitis resolve without treatment. Even though the symptoms clear up though, lack of natural treatment of the germs often allows them to hibernate and allow for symptoms to re-occur down the road.

Because most cases of bronchitis are viral in origin, the use of antibiotics is rare (because it is not effective). Any fever can be addressed with The Artificial Fever you can do at home. Read the page on Coughing to see what "at home" treatments you might use to refrain from using NSAIDs.

Chronic bronchitis, a type of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is characterized by the presence of a productive cough that lasts for three months or more per year for at least two years. Chronic bronchitis most commonly develops due to recurrent injury to the airways, often caused by inhaled irritants. Cigarette smoking is the most common cause (Detox for Cigarettes here), followed by air pollution and occupational exposure to irritants.

Tips for helping Bronchitis:
  1. When the bronchials are inflamed, avoid areas with dry air. Moist air is much less irritating. A steamy shower, or a pot of slow boiling water to release steam into the air, etc.
  2. Drink plenty of fluids! The bronchial tubes need plenty of fluid to heal and repair. Get lots of rest and keep your heart rate low.
  3. Onions are expectorants and help the flow of mucus. You can also eat onions raw, cooked, baked, in soups and stews or as seasoning. Honey is very soothing to the throat and bronchials, soak some raw onion in honey over night, remove onion and eat a tablespoon 4 times a day if you are not diabetic.
  4. Lemons help rid the respiratory system of bacteria and mucus. Make a cup of lemon tea by grating 1 teaspoon lemon rind and adding it to 1 cup boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes. Or, you can boil a lemon wedge. Strain into a cup and drink.
  5. If the chest is very sore, soak bay leaves (dried or fresh) in hot water for 10 minutes. Apply the leaves to chest and cover with a warm, moist towel.
  6. If you have a history of bronchial problems, look at the Large Intestine and its healthy functions. You may need to start IC-1 because health of the lung/bronchial is contingent of good intestinal function.

Clostridium

The natural habitat for Clostridium species are soil, water and the gastrointestinal tract of animals and humans. The Clostridium genus includes common free-living bacteria as well as important pathogens. Some of the main species and how you might be exposed to them include:

  • C. botulinum, an organism that produces botulinum toxin in food can cause botulism. Honey sometimes contains spores of Clostridium botulinum. The toxin eventually paralyzes the infant's breathing muscles. This same toxin is known as "Botox" and is used cosmetically to paralyze facial muscles to reduce the signs of aging. It also has numerous therapeutic uses.
  • C. difficile can flourish when other bacteria in the stomach are killed during antibiotic therapy, leading to pseudomembranous colitis (a cause of antibiotic-associated diarrhea).
  • C. perfringens cause a wide range of symptoms, from food poisoning to gas gangrene. It is responsible for enterotoxemia (also known as "overeating disease" or "pulpy kidney disease" even though it has nothing to do with overeating) in sheep and goats. C. perfringens also takes the place of yeast in the making of salt rising bread.
  • C. tetani is the organism responsible for tetanus and lock jaw. The name is derived from "of a tension", referring to the tension (caused by tetanus) in the muscles.
  • C. sordellii has been linked to the deaths of more than a dozen women after medical abortions.
  • C. thermocellum can utilize lignocellulosic waste and generate ethanol, making it a possible candidate for use in the production of ethanol fuel.
  • C. acetobutylicum is used to produce acetone and biobutanol for the production of gunpowder and TNT.

The toxic part of Clostridium is not the bacteria itself, but the toxins these bacteria produce. Seven types of neurotoxins have been identified in botulinum alone. Most of these toxins have been included in this remedy, so the need for this remedy may not always be for the bacteria itself, but for the toxins these bacteria produce. Many of these toxins are from commercial and industrial uses, so you may be exposed at a work place or from toxins released in the environment.

  • This Quantum Formula antidotes the various species in the Clostridium genus as well as botulism toxin A-G, beta toxin, epsilon toxin, perfringens type C and D and other neurotoxins, lignocellulosic waste, ethanol, endoglucanase, etc.

    Acne

All types of acne - blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, papule, pustules, nodules and cysts - develop when pores in our skin become clogged. The culprit is sebum [see-bum], an oil in our skin. Our bodies make more sebum when our hormones surge. This is why teens get acne. This is why women often breakout before their periods. Allergies and intestinal problems can lead to excess sebum as well.

What happens inside the clogged pore determines the type of acne we see. A blackhead appears when sebum and dead skin cells clog the pore. While the pore is clogged, its surface remains open. This lets us look into the pore and see a black color.

A whitehead forms when the excess oil and dead skin cells clog the pore and block the opening of the pore. Acne develops where we have the most sebaceous glands. These glands make sebum and are found in the greatest number on our face, neck, chest, back, shoulders, and upper arms.

But excess oil does more than clog pores. Bacteria that normally live on our skin, P. acnes, thrive in this excess oil. Immersed in excess oil, the bacteria can rapidly increase in number. As the bacteria multiply in a clogged pore, the pore becomes inflamed. Inflammation is what causes a pimple to look red, hot, and swollen. When inflammation reaches deep into the skin, an acne cyst forms. This is the most severe type of acne. Cysts can be very painful. If pustule, nodule or cystic acne is not corrected it can lead to severe acne known as Acne Conglobata (vulgaris), Acne Fulminans, Gram Negative Folliculitis, Nodulocystic Acne.

NOTE: Acne is not really a skin problem, the skin is the side effect, the symptom of the deeper issue. Constipation! Show me a person with acne and I give you a person with too much accumulated waste in their system. If the bowels are not evacuating at least twice a day, consider some Bowel Stimulant. If you tend to eat too much junk food, use the IC-2 to clean out some waste. Yes, Proactive and various facial washes / treatments may help, but stop them and see what happens. Why? Because you didn't fix the cause. Since hormones fluctuate in the years leading up to menopause, many women in their 40s and 50s get acne. Is it just the hormones? No. Why do other women have no skin problems? When hormones surge, the liver is in charge of cleaning the excess away. The person with liver congestion is the one who gets the acne.

    Blastomyces

Blastomyces species cause Blastomycosis, a rare fungal infection usually acquired by inhaling the spores of Blastomyces. It is found in wood and soil after contaminated soil is disturbed by activities such as excavation, construction, digging, or wood clearing. It is not spread from person-to-person or from animal-to-person. Blastomycosis occurs most often in people that live in the central and southeastern United States, particularly in the Mississippi and Ohio River valleys and the Great Lakes states.

The time between exposure and when symptoms develop varies widely, ranging from 21 to 100 days. The signs and symptoms of blastomycosis also vary among individuals. About 50% of people infected do not develop any symptoms or disease and the infection is resolved without treatment. However, some patients develop a chronic lung infection and/or the disease can spread to other areas of the body such as skin, bones, genitourinary system, or central nervous system.

Symptoms may include: Fever, Cough, Cough with blood, Shortness of breath, Muscle aches, Bone pain, Back pain, Chest pain, Fatigue, Weight loss and Skin sores (see photo).

    Yersinia

Some members of Yersinia are pathogenic in humans. One in particular, Y. pestis, is the causative agent of the plague called Yersiniosis. Rodents are the natural reservoirs of Yersinia; less frequently other mammals serve as the host. Infection may occur through blood (in the case of Y. pestis it is spread by flea bites). The symptoms of plague depend on the concentrated areas of infection in each person. Examples are: bubonic plague in lymph nodes, septicemic plague in blood vessels, pneumonic plague in lungs, and so on.

Yersinia may also be spread via consumption of food products (especially vegetables, milk-derived products and meat) contaminated with infected urine or feces. Because Yersinia are known to be intracellular parasites, it is also believed that they can be acquired if a person is contaminated with certain kinds of parasites -the bacteria live within the parasite.

Yersinia is implicated as one of the causes of reactive arthritis worldwide, and suspected to be the cause of some Crohn's disease and pseudoappendicitis, which are symptoms of appendicitis but not actually an apendix condition.

While Yersinia bacteria can survive extreme cold and may not be affected by freezing, they are inactivated by oxidizing agents such as exposure to hydrogen peroxide.

This Quantum Formula antidotes the various species in the Yersinia genus and its subspecies.

    Bee & Wasp Detox Information

Whether it is from a hornet, yellow jacket, wasp or honey bee, stings hurt! Most people will have only a localized reaction to a bee sting. The normal reaction to a bee sting is for the skin to turn red and feel painful. Swelling and/or itching may also occur, but the pain usually disappears within a few hours. Symptoms vary from local reactions of pain to redness at the sting site and/or the formation of a wheal (raised bump usually pale in color). Localized itching is common and redness in the first 24 hours can become as large as 12 to 18 inches in diameter. Within this large local reaction sting site, swelling, redness, and pain may persist for up to a week. Areas adjacent to the site of the skin may also be involved in the large local reaction.

In a systemic allergic reaction, the entire body is affected. The victim may develop hives, redness, or swelling at sites on the body distant from the site of the sting. This is NOT a good sign. Symptoms can also include vomiting, nausea , diarrhea, and dizziness. In anaphylactic reactions, victims experience wheezing, difficulty breathing, and a drop in blood pressure that leads to shock if not treated promptly. Most anaphylactic reactions do occur within the first 15 to 30 minutes. 60% of reactions occur in the first hour and the remaining 40% occur within 3 to 4 hours. If there is not a severe reaction within 5 hours, the chances are very good that one will not occur. People who know they are highly allergic may carry around epinephrine in the form of a self-injectable EpiPen for the treatment of an anaphylactic shock.

The first step in treatment following a bee sting is removal of the stinger itself. Only honey bees leave the stinger and poison gland; yellow jackets, wasps, and hornets do not. The stinger should be removed as quickly as possible, there is no right or wrong way. A delay of even a few seconds leads to more venom being injected. Bee venom is acidic as it contains the highly acidic peptide melittin. Anything that will reduce the acidity will relieve the pain. The problem is that the acidity is active under the tissue and skin, so it is hard to apply an effective alkalizer. There are many HOME REMEDIES rumored to work, but it is hard to beat the effectiveness of an ice cube or some commercial toothpaste on the sting site. Within 20 minutes the pain should go from a 10 down to a 2 or better.

The Bee Detox Remedy helps the body detoxify apitoxin, melittin, phospholipase A2, hyaluronidase, apamin, kinins, histamine and alarm pheromones. Detoxification of these poisons and related toxins will help the body be much less reactive to bee venom so fear of anaphylaxis will no longer be an issue.

It is powerful at helping reduce pain, swelling and itching, and is very effective at preventing infection. You can apply it directly to the bite or wound or soak the absorbent part of a band aid (3-5 drops) in Liquid Detox and apply it to the bite or wound.

    Bed Bug Detox Information

All insects in this family live by feeding exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals. The name "bed bug" is derived from the insect's preferred habitat of houses, especially beds or other areas where people sleep. Bed bugs are not strictly nocturnal, but are usually active at night and are capable of feeding unnoticed on their hosts. They have been categorized under a variety of names including: wall louse, mahogany flat, crimson rambler, heavy dragoon, chinche and redcoat.

Bed bugs are attracted to their hosts primarily by carbon dioxide, then by warmth or by certain chemicals. It takes between five to ten minutes for a bed bug to become completely engorged with blood and return to its hiding place. Although bed bugs can live for a year without feeding, they normally try to feed every five to ten days. In cold weather bed bugs can live for about a year. In temperatures that are more conducive to activity and feeding, their life span is about 5 months.

Bed bugs have been recognized as human parasites for thousands of years. Bed bug bites or cimicosis can lead to a range of skin manifestations from no visible effects to prominent blisters. A number of health effects may occur due to bed bugs including: skin rashes, psychological effects, and allergic reactions. They are able to be infected by at least 28 human pathogens, including MRSA! Bed bugs are elusive and usually nocturnal, which can make them hard to spot. They often lodge unnoticed in dark crevices and eggs can be nestled in fabric seams. In addition to bite sites, signs include: fecal spots, blood smears on sheets, and molts.

Dwellings can become infested with bed bugs in these various ways:

    • Bugs and eggs that "hitchhiked in" on pets, clothing and luggage
    • Infested items, like furniture or clothing, when purchased
    • Nearby dwellings or infested items, if there are easy routes (through duct work or false ceilings)
    • Wild animals (such as bats or birds)[39][40]
    • People visiting from a source of infestation as bed bugs, like roaches, are transferred by clothing, luggage, or a person's body.

Bed bugs can inhabit solely, but often congregate once established. They usually remain close to hosts, commonly in or near beds or couches. Harborage areas can vary greatly and may include luggage, vehicles, furniture and bedside clutter. Bed bugs may also inhabit near animals that have nested within a dwelling such as bats, birds, or rodents. The eggs of bed bugs are found in similar places where the bed bugs themselves are found and attach to surfaces by a sticky substance.

Bed bugs can be detected by their characteristic smell of cilantro, coriander, almonds or over-ripe raspberries. If you suspect bed bugs, there are several ways to destroy them:

    1. Diatomaceous Earth. According to many reports, diatomaceous earth has been proven to be an effective bed bug killer for the home. This insecticide, made from the fossilized remains of hard-shelled algae, is both environmentally friendly and non-toxic. The diatomaceous earth fine powder contains razor sharp particles that cut the waxy cuticle covering the bed bugs' exosekeleton, causing them to die with contact. Apply diatomaceous earth along the base boards and rub it in the carpets after each vacuuming to eliminate and prevent the spread of bed bugs. It is not harmful or toxic to humans in any way.
    2. Heat & Steam. Heat is highly effective at exterminating bed bugs and their eggs. Like humans, bed bugs cannot survive extreme heat. The thermal death point for the common bed bug is 120 °F so washing bed linens and clothes in the dryer with this thermal setting will generally kill all bed bugs. For larger items that cannot be washed with hot water such as mattresses, the use of hot steam from a professional grade bed bug steamer is effective at killing bed bugs and their eggs instantaneously even if they are hidden deep within the pores of the mattress. To be an effective bed bug steamer, experts recommend that the steam from the cleaner needs to be above 200 °F. The 120 °F temperature will kill bed bugs on contact, but not those that are hidden deep inside a mattress or sofa.
    3. Mattress Encasement. One study showed that after 10 years, a mattress could weigh many pounds more than it did when you bought it just from the amount of bed bugs living in it. If you are getting bitten regularly from bed bugs, buy a new mattress or bed bug mattress covers that are an effective non-chemical remedy to get immediate relief and comfort from the bed bug bites. These encasements seal off the entire mattress leaving no gap for the bed bugs to enter or escape through. These encasements should also be used for your pillows as well. You will need to keep the covers on for at least a year to eventually kill any bed bugs trapped within.
    4. Red Cedar Oil. Often used by the military as a safe, effective remedy for repelling bed bugs, you can find this online and use as directed.

If you suspect your house is infested:

    • Rent a professional steamer and steam your entire house.
    • Steam or wrap your mattress, then pull the bed away from the wall to prevent bed bugs from crawling from the wall onto the bed.
    • Apply double-sided duct tape around each leg of the bed to act as a sticky barrier from the crawling bugs. Do not let any clothing or items hang off the bed and touch the floor.
    • Keep all animals out of your home.

NEVER let pets sleep in your bed and it is best that they do not sleep in your favorite chair or sofa. Our Bed Bug Remedy helps the body detoxify the various toxins that can be transferred to humans through the Bed Bug Bite.

    Balamuthia

Balamuthia is a free-living amoeba found in soil and dust. It was first identified in 1986 in a specimen from the brain of a baboon that died in the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Since then, approximately 200 cases of Balamuthia disease have been reported worldwide with 70 of those cases being reported in the United States. Limited information is currently available about how a person becomes infected. Many believe that this parasite causes multiple health conditions, but medical technology is not trained to look for it, so conditions are misdiagnosed.

Balamuthia can cause Balamuthia granulomatous amebic encephalitis (GAE), a serious brain infection that is usually fatal. Balamuthia GAE occurs when the Balamuthia amoeba infects the body, possibly through skin wounds and cuts, or when dust containing Balamuthia is breathed in through the nose or mouth. The amoebae may travel to the brain directly through the sinuses or through the blood stream. Balamuthia GAE is very rare, but is usually a fatal disease.

Symptoms of Balamuthia disease can begin with a red area of skin on the face, torso, or limbs that increases over time. However, some people with Balamuthia never develop skin lesions. Instead, their symptoms begin when the amoebas infect the brain, causing Balamuthia GAE. Diagnosis of Balamuthia GAE can be difficult, as it is easily confused with other neurologic diseases, even non-infectious ones, like a stroke.
